Taste Real Food and Ludlow Food Festival
Ludlow, Shropshire, is the home of both Taste Real Food and Ludlow Marches Food and Drink Festival.

A wealth of real food and drink producers, award-winning restaurants and attractive food shops in and around Ludlow and the surrounding Marches countryside, help to create the perfect setting for the development of a new food lovers' association.

Started in 1995, Ludlow Marches Food and Drink Festival is proud of its position as being the longest-running and most successful food event of its type in the UK. It has grown steadily each year and has always stayed true to its local roots. Almost all of the exhibitors come from within the Marches, the England-Wales border area, and the event is run almost entirely by volunteers.

The establishment of a nationwide food association with its headquarters in Ludlow adds value for all concerned. The partnership between the two organisations builds on an already-successful brand and reinforces Ludlow's reputation as a hub of culinary excellence.

Phil Maile, Chairman of Ludlow Food Festival and a director of Taste Real Food UK, commented: "The partnership will provide a strong base to link together local food producers, enthusiasts and communities from all parts of the UK and we hope it will play a vital role in real food education and promotion."
